As she hurried through the preflight checks Ahsoka couldn't help but feel a little excited. She'd spent the last few days either stuck in her cabin or stalking the halls of the Resolute and it'd be good to get out flying again, even on such a simple assignment. With the engines roaring beneath her the young padawan cleared the launch bay and darted out into the asteroid belt.
Climbing high she quickly flipped her fighter over, bringing it in a close sweep along the length of the Resolute before turning away at the last moment to avoid the startled crew watching from the bridge. "Obviously a manoeuvre Anakin taught her." Admiral Yularen muttered to himself in disapproval as he watched the small, agile craft move out between the giant rocks.
"Ahsoka to Resolute, I'm beginning my survey run now." With a flick of a switch the padawan altered her scanner scope from navigational to geological readings, quickly narrowing the band to focus on the hfredium which the Resolute had detected. At first she couldn't see anything, but as she took the fighter deeper into the field she saw what the cruiser had picked up on.
Ahead of her an asteroid large enough to generate its own weak gravitational field was pinging back almost pure hfredium readings. quickly laying in a course Ahsoka guided her ship between the smaller rocks hanging around the mass before activating her missile tubes. Squeezing the trigger she fired a mining probe into one of the many crevasses rippling across the asteroid's surface, watching as the self propelled sensor disappeared into the darkness.
Almost immediately she began to get reading back, but as she watched the data ticking in from the probe she found herself confused. "Ahsoka to Resolute, are you picking up the sensor telemetry yet?"
"Aye Sir, it's coming through loud and clear." Came the response from the deck officer a moment later.
"Can you just double check the readings against mine. I can't see any indication of hfredium deposits down there at all." Just as she finished reporting Ahsoka felt something in the Force, something which shouldn't have been there. Quickly pulling back on the controls she set her fighter spinning off course just as a missile flew past, right where she had been flying a moment before.
"Ahsoka to Resolute. It's a trap! Repeat, it's a trap!"

Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.
