"Racist snobs" were far from uncommon in that age.

Don't you know that Darwin claimed that a married man was like a slave worse than a negro? Those were the words he used.

I didn't, but racism was widespread in his days. I do not endorse racism, but it should not be enough rationale to be a detractor of someone, even less if the thought was widespread in that era.

Evolution was one of the tools he used to justify racism.

Well that REALLY sounds TOO MUCH weird to me ears O_O, who is that society?, do they really think that earth is flat?, here all schools teach about evolution since they are secular...

The Flat Earth Society is a groyup following the Fundamentalist Christian philosophy movement. I tend to use the term to cover anyone who believes in the absolute truth of the Bible in its purest form, and that all scientific endeavour is merely placed on Earth to test our faith in God.

It's these people who managed to get Creationism taught in schools as a scientific theory, under the argument that not to do so would be in violation of their right to religious belief.

And yes, they believe the Earth is flat, and that all space missions were faked and all images of a round Earth have been falsified.

"And yes, they believe the Earth is flat, and that all space missions were faked and all images of a round Earth have been falsified." no answer can possible describe my feelings towards that :S.....
I am Christian and i believe in god, but "that all scientific endeavour is merely placed on Earth to test our faith in God." is something that i never heard before, an it is certainly NOT in the bible (just like trinity and other stuff).....

Oh by the way, how'd that date with Lara go? I haven't seen her back here yet, and I think Maria might be getting a bit worried...

As I write this I'm having an out of body experience, mainly because Lara's still having an in body experience with the rest of me.

You were right about her being insatiable. :D

I did warn you... still, take care not to break her eh? Maria would like her back in one piece.

Given that she spends a fair bit of time patching Lara back up after fights anyway.

I... don't know... Lara's robotic body is a prototype... and Maria may or may not have made some modifications to it at Lara's request, you'd have to ask her.

Through various means, Maria knows Lara's body better than perhaps Lara herself does...

Natural selection. If we piss them off enough they'll go off and kill themselves. Especially when they realise we're right. :devilish:

PS. Is it irony when an atheist uses a picture of a cartoon devil while mocking religion?

"He's waving his Noodly Appendage and erasing the remains from existance!"

Or at least that's what whatever they say will equate to. :)

I remember seeing a documentary once where a Creationist minister was arguing against evolution and the best argument he could come up with was that the idea that he was related to apes was offensive to his world view.
